We are learning many things in Religion including Saint Projects, learning to pray the Rosary, and doing many fun activities. For our Saint Projects, we have Project A and Project B. Project A is a poster or Power-point. Project B is a creative activity, such as a clay model or a book of songs about your Saint's life. Both projects were due October 30th. We are also learning how to pray the Rosary in class. We practice the rosary every class, so we know it for Adoration, which is every Thursday morning. Our classes take turns leading the prayers at Adoration with the parishioners at St.Joseph. Also we memorized the Mysteries and had weekly quizzes on them. In Religion we have recently prayed a Novena. A few weeks ago we made Rosaries with volunteers from the church. That was fun. Religion is one of the subjects Ms. Wilder teaches. I enjoy Religion, like learning about Saints for our projects and praying the Rosary.

In religion we learn about The Mysteries, the Rosary and how to be closer to God. The Mysteries are about the life of Jesus. There are four Mysteries: The Joyful Mysteries, The Luminous Mysteries, The Sorrowful Mysteries and The Glorious Mysteries. The Mysteries are said in the Rosary. We had a test on the Organization of the Rosary Prayers. On Thursday mornings we do the adoration when we gather together and pray the Rosary. We chose a patron saint for our saint projects. We each did two projects on our chosen saint. The first project was a powerpoint presentation or poster about the life of our saint. For the second project we created a museum piece or art work about the life of our saint. Religion class is a fun way to learn about Jesus Christ.

In Religon class, we learn lot about God, and his stories. The first thing we did in religon was the saint project. There was two parts to this project an A project and a B project. For project A you either had to do a power point or a poster. On one of those two you had to tell about your saint and there life. Then for project B you had to choose one of the seven things to do then make that thing. Another thing we did in Religon was the Myerstries and every Friday you would have a quiz on those five mysterie. If you didnt do very well you can retake the quiz at recess and get your grade higer. Every week we go to the church on Thursday and pray the rosery with the prisiners and we are the leaders during catholic school week we lead the whole school in the rosery. On November 2 we are going to have test. I know we will learn a lot more.

Although it is not my favorite subject, religion is a great and educational class. You can learn a lot in religion. We learn about God and how sent Jesus down to save us in the Scriptures. My grade also studies the Mysteries. We used to have quizzes every week on them. To study, we grabbed a partner, walked around the room and quizzed each other. Ms. Wilder also has us read the Scriptures to study them. Adoration is when we go to the church and pray the rosary. We go to silent adoration, too. That’s when we can pray silently. The Monstrance is always there when we go to adoration. It looks like a bunch of golden rays of sunshine coming out of the Eucharist. My grade can always count on Ms. Wilder to teach us about God and his mysterious ways.
WISE by Kayla
I have several reason why I think wise is a good idea. WISE is getting caught for doing good deeds and works. Good deeds and works for example are helping an elderly people by doing yard work. Self discipline is where you control your actions and reactions if someone punches you don't punch them back go tell the person in charge. Respect is where you are honest and caring to others. Patience is also important because if you don't have patience school and work are hard patience is waiting nicely for someone or something. Respect is this months theme. Respect is helping others by treating them fairly and nicely. Even if not caught still try to get caught. Show you are willin to try your best and maybe you will get caught next month.

The student council comes up to the front of the gym and starts reading of names, kids start to come to the front of the gym from all directions. There are several reasons why caught is a good program. This months wise theme is respect. Respect to honor and to look up to. At the beginning of last month, our 6th grade class introduced the theme to the school at a assembly. Here are a few good things about getting caught. First, You get your picture in the hall. Second, you get a button to wear. Lastly, at the assembly, you get a treat. A few things about caught. It is chosen by the teachers. This program is great for motivating kids to be a better citizen. Every month is a new theme. Last there is a lesson called wise to tell you about the theme. That is why caught is a good program.
